The Need

Togo Energy Project

The availability of sustainable energy is essential for a developing community of people:

  • Many communities in sub-Saharan Africa lack access to electricity or the infrastructure to get it. They are “off the grid.”

  • Any electricity that is available is unreliable and expensive.

  • Lack of electricity means students are unable to study at night, losing educational opportunity.
  • Lack of electricity means medical facilities can’t power their equipment, can’t run refrigerators to preserve medicines, and can’t be counted on to heal people.

Our Response

GPiH works with community leaders around the world to develop sustainable energy solutions for medical centers.
