Empowering Communities in Benin with La Rescousse

This month, Global Partners in Hope is thrilled to spotlight our ongoing efforts in Benin. We have joined together with La Rescousse, a local humanitarian organization dedicated to sustainable development. Led by Dr. Hyacinthe KODO, La Rescousse has a similar mission, committed to serving and advocating for the well-being of underdeveloped communities and supporting vulnerable groups, including women and infants. Their shared vision of global development makes Dr. KODO and his team an ideal partner for our mission in Benin.

In March, we celebrated the successful installation of our first water well in Atomey, Benin. This new well now provides essential clean water to more than 4,000 residents in the village and surrounding areas! Access to clean water has already begun to transform the daily lives of those in this community by reducing the incidence of waterborne diseases and allowing more time for education and economic activities. Building on this success, we are currently constructing a second well in Atomey, which will support a new health clinic. This clinic will provide much-needed medical services, further enhancing the well-being of the community.

Our work in Benin shows just how powerful collaboration and sustainable projects are for Atomey. Together with La Rescousse, we are not just providing water; we are fostering health, hope, and a brighter future for the people of Atomey. Thank you for your continued support, which makes these life-changing projects possible.
