Thank You, Sperlings: Departure from GPiH

Updated: May 14

It is with sadness that we inform you of the recent news from Jon and Peggy Sperling of their departure from Global Partners in Hope. After 11 years of serving together, the Sperlings will be transitioning away from GPiH effective January 31st. It has been a blessing to have seen the ministry grow in China through the many lives they have touched. We celebrate the work they have both been involved with over these many years.

Ian received this note from Jon, “This message is a follow-up to our call with you this morning. As we noted in our call, ‘God has been moving us in our plans for the future with influencers such as Peggy’s health and China challenges’.” We at GPiH will continue to pray for Peggy’s health and healing during this time and for their transition to their next chapter of ministry.

We, as an organization, remain committed to our work in China and the rest of the world. We are thankful for your commitment to the Lord’s work in China. As we move forward in 2021, we will continue to build strong partnerships that will align with the mission to bring the message of hope to many. We are now looking to local leaders in China to help us develop sustainable work for the future. We will continue our partnership with several churches and colleges to keep the work going that happens through your generous support.

We thank the Sperlings for their dedication for the past 11 years and though we are sad to see them go, we are excited to see what new opportunities will open up for our work in China. Please follow along with us on social media to stay up to date on all of our new projects.
