Upcoming Health Center Dedication

Updated: May 15

This July, Global Partners in Hope will be sending a team to Togo, West Africa for the dedication event at the new medical center. In attendance will be board member, chairman, and local businessmen Bob Scharf, along with CEO, Ian Vickers, Executive Assistant, Jannie Price, physician Angela Haas, who is based in Boulder, CO, three interns from Creighton University, a videographer, and several other volunteers.

Also in attendance will be Steve Perry, the owner of Olmsted & Perry Consulting Engineers Inc. He consulted on several of the engineering aspects of the health center, such as the construction of the bridge.

The team of interns includes current Heider College of Business students Harrison Kane and Hannah Redmond, and recent graduate Dan Young (BSBA ‘21). Each intern will provide their own unique skills as they travel to Togo. Harrison will be helping with videography for GPIH, to put together some videos of the dedication. Hannah, who is in charge of the social media at GPIH will provide updates and posts about the dedication. And Dan, a passionate traveler, is helping the team prepare for the trip logistically and spiritually.

We are very excited about the team we are bringing along to Togo, and after over a year in construction, the GPIH team is very excited to see the health center up and running!
